WHAT TO BRING…
You are not required to carry anything but if you want to donate towards a worthy course for the institution advancement feel free to do so. All you need to do is to notify us that you want to do so, so that we can offer our guidance towards the same.Of importance to note, in this program we charge an extra 100USD. This is chargeable only once in the entire volunteering period which is transferred to the institutions and centers to facilitate service provision.
REQUIREMENTS
- The minimum age to serve as an NHV Volunteer is 18 years old, however, there are specific requirements for children, and they must be accompanied by their parent(s) or guardian.
- There may also be requirements of relevant professional and academic experience, as well as language proficiency depending on the program applied.
- All Volunteers must display a commitment to the values and principles of and an ability to work in a multicultural environment and with local communities.
- They should be prepared to adjust to lack of essentials like reliable internet at sometimes.
- All Volunteers should be professional, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Volunteers must produce criminal background clearance certificate or what we call a CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CONDUCT as a requirement to be accepted at NHV.
